This red and gold sequined jacket is 100% rayon and made in India. The specific year purchased is undetermined, but similar jackets date to the late 80’s/early 90’s. Note: all sizing varies and vintage brands can be particularly tricky. This jacket is 38 inches long (shoulder seam to bottom). There is no size tag but we believe it to be a 5x or 6x. It can be worn open or closed, and it measures about 34 inches across the back from underarm to underarm. 

This item was gifted to NAAFA by Carole Cullum. Carole is recognized by Solovay's Fat Legal Advocacy Rights and Education Project (FLARE!) as an Everyday Fat Hero for her work towards passing San Francisco's Ban on height and weight discrimination, her activism to end the Vietnam War, her legal advocacy for 90's LGBT rights campaigns in San Francisco, and her volunteerism with NAAFA.
